Vic: Car could be clue to death of 21 year old: police
Victorian police say they're anxious to hear from an anonymous caller who gave them
details of a car possibly linked to the death of a young woman last year.
The body of 21-year-old HILARY STEVENS was found in a house in Rembrandt Drive, Wheelers
Hill, in Melbourne's east, on October 1.
Police say an anonymous call through Crime Stoppers has given them a breakthrough in
their investigation into the death.
They say the caller provided valuable information related to a dark-colored, late-model,
six-cylinder vehicle - possibly a Ford or a Holden.
It was seen travelling in Rembrandt Drive towards Ferntree Gully Road between 3.30am
and 4am on the night of the murder.
Detectives are appealing for the caller to contact them again.
